Emily Palmer
For Openside’s clients, Emily particularly focuses on consulting skills, performance management, change management and team development.
Emily is an organisational development consultant interested in enabling individuals and teams to perform better and enjoy their work more, through support at the personal, group and system level.
Emily worked as a management consultant at Cap Gemini and Booz Allen Hamilton (now Strategy&) in London, where she specialised in Organisation and Change Leadership.
She moved to Argentina in 2008, after a six-month sabbatical turned into a permanent relocation. After a few years coordinating programmes in the non-profit sector, she returned to consultancy as HR Director for a strategy firm based in Buenos Aires.
She is an organisational consultant and coach, with clients ranging from the local management teams of multinationals, to founders of small businesses looking to grow.
She brings her knowledge and experience of team development, change management, communication, coaching and HR to Openside’s clients in Latin America.
Emily considers herself both linguistically and culturally bilingual. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge in English, an ACTP certification in Ontological Coaching, a postgraduate qualification in Non-Profit Management, and is in the process of completing her Masters in Organisational Studies.
Emily lives in Buenos Aires with her three stepkids part-time, and her husband and sausage dog full-time. She enjoys writing, reading, swimming and discovering more about the history and architecture of her adopted city.
