Openside Festive Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Openside Festive Giveaway (“Competition”). By entering, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To enter the Competition, individuals must:

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Have an active LinkedIn account.
  • Be a resident of the United Kingdom, the European Union, or any jurisdiction where such giveaways are legally permitted.

Employees of Openside (including contractors, affiliates, and immediate family members) are not eligible to win.

The Competition is void where prohibited by law.

2. How to Enter

To submit a valid entry, participants must complete the mandatory actions listed in any of the three Giveaway Entry Posts on LinkedIn. Openside Festive Activity 2025

Mandatory actions:

  1. Like OR comment on the Entry Post
  2. Follow/Subscribe to the Openside LinkedIn Newsletter
  3. Plus, a Bonus entry (optional): Share the post

A participant may enter via all three Giveaway Entry Posts, but may only win one prize.

No purchase is necessary.

3. Competition Period

The Competition runs from:

8th December 2025 (00:01 GMT) – 31st December 2025 (23:59 GMT)

Winners will be selected and notified during the week commencing 5th January 2026, as stated in the campaign materials. Openside Festive Activity 2025

4. Prizes & Required Seniority Levels

The total prize value is £5,000, comprising three distinct prizes designed for different professional seniority levels, as outlined in the Openside campaign brief. Openside Festive Activity 2025

However, winners may choose to donate or gift their prize to a colleague or peer if the prize is better suited to someone else in their organisation.

4.1 Prize 1 – Executive Hogan Assessment + 1:1 Coaching

Intended seniority:

  • C-suite, Partners, Directors, Senior Leaders

(As specified in Entry Post 1: “Audience: C-suite, Partners, Senior Leaders”). Openside Festive Activity 2025

Prize includes:

  • Full Hogan Personality Assessment (HPI, HDS, MVPI or equivalent suite)
  • One dedicated 1:1 Executive Coaching session with an Openside coach, lasting up to 90 minutes

Transferability:
The winner may gift/donate the assessment and coaching session to another eligible senior leader within their organisation.

4.2 Prize 2 – Vienna Learning Measurement Session (20 people)

Intended seniority:

  • L&D Leaders, HR Managers/Business Partners, Talent Leads

(As specified in Entry Post 2: “Audience: L&D, HR, Talent Leaders”). Openside Festive Activity 2025

Prize includes:

  • A facilitated Vienna Learning Measurement session for a group of up to 20 participants. Insight reporting on drivers, barriers, and behaviour change indicators

Transferability:
The session may be gifted to another L&D or HR colleague or applied to a different internal team.

4.3 Prize 3 – APS eLearning Licences for 3 Participants

Intended seniority:

  • Line Managers, Team Leaders, Supervisors, Small Business Owners

(As specified in Entry Post 3: “Audience: Managers, Team Leaders, Small Organisations”). Openside Festive Activity 2025

Prize includes:

  • Three licences for Openside’s Analytical Problem-Solving (APS) online course

Transferability:
Winners may distribute the licences to team members or colleagues.

5. Winner Selection

  • Winners will be chosen at random by an independent party from all valid entries submitted during the Competition Period.
  • Winners will be notified via LinkedIn Direct Message within 7 days of the draw.
  • Winners must respond within 7 days to confirm acceptance.
  • If a winner fails to respond, Openside reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Winners will only be announced publicly with their explicit consent.

6. Prize Conditions

  • Prizes are non-cash, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.
  • Prizes may be transferred or gifted to a peer or colleague, provided the receiving individual meets the seniority guidelines of the prize category.
  • Openside reserves the right to replace any prize with an equivalent service of equal or greater value where required.
  • These coaching and training prizes must be used by 30th June 2026.

7. Data Protection

By entering, participants consent to:

  • Being contacted by Openside via LinkedIn for Competition administration
  • Their entry details being processed in accordance with Openside’s Privacy Policy
  • Receiving an optional offer of a free 20-minute consultation

Openside will not sell participant data to third parties.

8. Disqualification

Entrants may be disqualified for:

  • Failure to complete mandatory entry steps
  • Use of false or duplicate LinkedIn accounts
  • Posting inappropriate, offensive, or spam content
  • Breaching LinkedIn’s community standards
  • Any attempt to manipulate or game the Competition process

Openside’s decision is final.

9. Liability

Openside accepts no responsibility for:

  • Technical issues on LinkedIn
  • Lost, delayed, or corrupted entries
  • Inaccurate participant contact details
  • Any personal or organisational consequences arising from prize use

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Openside’s liability is limited to the value of the prize awarded.

10. LinkedIn Disclaimer

This Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with LinkedIn.

LinkedIn bears no responsibility for the Competition.

11. Changes to the Competition

Openside reserves the right to:

  • Amend these Terms
  • Suspend or cancel the Competition
  • Substitute prizes of equal value

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
